Lead Lubricants Accountant at Afrizan Personnel

Job description

This role will provide assurance to the Lubricants Service Delivery Manager and Lubricants Africa Finance Manager to ensure matters of transactional control, financial system requirements, capability and financial integrity are properly considered and applied to ensure the following:-

All Lubricants internal and external accounting and reporting is prepared in accordance with IFRS and Group Accounting policies for the Africa business
Lubricants financial information for South Africa, Most of Africa and Supply Chain is fully prepared, analysed and understood in an accurate and timely manner

• Control and Risk Framework
• Leadership

Essential Experience

• 3-4 years experience in an Accounting/Auditing environment leading teams, preferably in the oil industry
• Strong analytical and financial skills are critical
• Must be a highly motivated and a high performing individual
• Must be able to present a structured, methodical approach to problem solving
• Track record of supporting Continuous Improvement in a current or prior business/professional role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Desireable:

Recognized national or international professional accountancy qualification e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA
