    Solution Sales Professional

    Job description

    Grove Group are seeking to employ a strong, solution-focused, connected sales professional who thrives on 'hunting' new business and opening doors, driving the IT solution sales process and closing deals, particularly in the mid-market / enterprise technology space.

    The successful candidate needs to bring lots of energy, charisma and commitment to the job, combined with technical IT ability (preferably in the cloud / mobile apps or related space) and business acumen to understand clients business and IT challenges.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work together with a dynamic team of professionals and take Grove's cloud solutions and mobile transformation platform to the market place

    To qualify you will need:

    • Have at least 5 - 7 years HUNTER IT solution sales experience focusing on New Business Development.
    • Have a track record of EXCEEDING new business sales revenue targets
    • Be a natural and engaging communicator and networker.
    • Be conversant with the language of business systems and solutions, productivity, flexibility, mobility and collaboration.
    • Have confidence to pitch to C-level decision makers in medium to large enterprises.
    • Possess the ability to drive new business with the patience / resilience to keep on at it through extended and complex sales cycles.
    • Have an understanding of business decision making processes and structures.
    • Be a self-starter with a hunger to excel and the ability to work well within a fast-paced team.
    • Be able to think laterally and be a creative deal maker.
    • Be meticulous and detailed with excellent numeracy skills.
    • Have a passion for cutting-edge IT Solutions, in particular in the Cloud and Mobile Apps space

    Key Responsibilities in this role are:

    • Take our cloud and mobile transformation platform to the market place
    • Drive new business with the resilience to keep on at it
    • Pursue leads generated and attend client meetings
    • Understand client IT pains and explore possible opportunities
    • Determine solutions together with our technical team
    • Coordinate the drafting of a proposal and present to the client
    • Follow through on sales opportunities to close.
