About the role

IRESS requires an IT Manager to lead the South African Corporate IT team from our Johannesburg Office (Bryanston).

This person will be responsible for all internal infrastructure and desktop support spanning across our three branches: Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. This includes information technology infrastructure for example physical and virtual servers, storage and backup, desktop hardware, Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Wireless, Local Area and Wide Area Networks and all telephony Services. The IT Manager will take ownership of business continuity planning and execution related to Corporate IT infrastructure.

About you

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT Manager role.
• MCITP / MCSE or related qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of server infrastructure.
• Skilled in hardware performance monitoring, analysis and capacity planning.
• Excellent collaboration and communication/interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service ethics.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Strong leadership skills and drive for results.
• Overall IT experience: Minimum 10 years.
