We are looking for a Strategy and Monetisation Analyst in our great office in Cape Town.

Your opportunity

As the Strategy and Monetisation Analyst you will be the spider in the web and have a continuous focus on growth, covering topics such as company strategy, digital sales and advertising analytics’, BD planning and implementation, as outlined below:

Company strategy:

You will provide support to the Head of Strategy and Monetisation and Country Manager, on the following:

• Strategy development and implementation;
• BAU analysis, reporting and special projects.
• Digital sales and advertising analytics:
• You will support the Digital Sales Manager on pricing models and any other data analysis required.

BD planning and implementation:

• You will support the BD Manager on sales pipeline planning and analysis.
• You will provide support on VAS optimisation and modelling
• You will be able to combine entrepreneurial freedom with taking one of the fastest growing companies in the continent to the next level.
• What will you need to be successful in this role?

Relevant experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience in consulting, or high profile mobile or online player - preferably with following:
• Organisational and/ or commercial strategy development
• Commercial modeling (general modeling experience at a bare minimum)
• Pricing
• Market sizing
• End-to-end workstream/project management

Broad skill set:

• You have work experience in high-performance professional environments.
• You have a proven track record of personal and academic achievements outside the professional environment.
• You have very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• You have strong research, structuring and analytical skills combined with a hands-on attitude.
• You are passionate about mobile and have deep interest in developing businesses.
• You have a strong sense of autonomy and are output-driven.
• You are very detail-driven and high comfort with complex numbers, models and calculations.
• Independence, flexibility and speed are as important to you as gaining international experience.
• Fluent in English.
