Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

• Manage the planning, execution and tracking of initiatives according to deadlines and
• resolve/facilitate any issues that may arise throughout the course of development in order to
• achieve a strategic objective or business benefit.

REQUIREMENTS

• IT degree
• Scrum master certification
• Project management certification (preferred)
• 3-6 years project experience within an IT environment
• 3 years' experience in a scrum master role within the agile/scrum methodology in financial services environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Organize and facilitate daily stand-up ceremonies, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, as well as any other meetings required by the team throughout the sprint/project
• Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate the feasibility of innovative projects that support the achievement of business objectives and support the development managers and product owners as and when necessary.
• Facilitate the creation of the project/product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and product owners in order to ensure that project deliverables and expectations are clearly articulated and aligned to business objectives.
• Facilitate the creation of the project/sprint deliverables; manage risks, changes, and impediments, including budget and timelines needed to successfully complete the project or incremental sprint deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to the all relevant project procedures such as change control proceduresduring testing and implementation of new technologies, BCP/DRP and procurement processes
