Senior Manager: Managed Care Hospital Related at AfroCentric Group

Job Description

Be responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of specific managed care products and projects from a Risk and Governance, IT liaison and Project management perspective. Also responsible for the maintenance of clinical and financial policies and processes on the system and shared sites that are easy for the staff to access. Manage a team of staff and a budget.

The following will be considered key compenents for the role:

Continuous improvement:

• Provide specialist input into efficiency, compliance and quality objectives for relevant area

Cost containment:

• Continuously review cost / benefit and ROI

Drive customer-centricity:

• Communications to external and internal stakeholders including system communications (maintenance and development)

Knowledge management:

• Ensure that adequate knowledge, regarding area of expertise, is shared as required and maintained within the research library.

Maintain expertise level:

• Ensure CPD (continual professional development) or similar accreditation requirements are met annually to ensure maintained specialist accreditation

Network key relationships:

• Build and maintain an established network of internal (peers and executives) and external expert resources and partners

Specialist support to projects:

• Manage client take-ons and wind downs when clients change service providers -Oversee operational implementation of Year End requirements -Provide assistance to BAISS with User Acceptance Testing.

Experience:

• 5 years health care experience at management level with strong IT, clinical (especially clinical coding), Project Management as well Risk and Governance knowledge and skills advantageous

Qualifications:

• Clinical and/or business degree.
