Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: ICT Security Operations, the successful incumbent’s responsibility will be to protect and maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all data processed on the RAF’s ICT systems and applications.
Key Performance Areas

Draft and maintain documented standards, processes and procedures for Access Management.

Incident response and remediation for Access Management.

Design and develop identity and access controls across RAF systems and application.

Implement identity and access controls across RAF systems and applications under your control.

Periodic security vulnerability/penetration tests and assurance in terms of Access Management.

ICT Security Awareness.

Monitoring, Reviewing and Reporting on ICT Security.

Auditable record keeping.
-
Audit recommendation analysis and implementation.
-
Act as a substitute in the department to cover capacity.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum: Grade 12 with an IT Diploma or equivalent NQF level certification with Security

Ideal: A 3 year National Diploma in IT/Degree with specialisation in ICT Security together with a CISSP or SSCP or CISM or similar international ICT Security certification or a specialisation in identity and Access Management, will be ideal.

Minimum: 3 – 5 years experience in an ICT security environment.

Specialist Access Management security knowledge and experience.

Specialist Information Security knowledge and experience (Standards, Procedure, Process and Best Practice, e.g. ISO 27001/2, CoBIT, ISF SOGP, ITIL, etc).
