    Excutive HR Consultant

    Job Description

    A WELL-ESTABLISHED AND PROMINIENT HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANCY / BUSINESS IS LOOKING FOR AN EXECUTIVE HR CONSULTANT, TO REPORT TO THE MANAGING MEMBER.

    PORT ELIZABETH

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Part of a cutting edge consulting team that partners with organisations to help them with their people strategies by providing them with professional HR services and solutions.
    • The Executive Consultant will develop, design, and deliver HR solutions for private and public sector clients.

    HIGH LEVEL JOB OUTPUTS

    • Remuneration Consulting (50%)
    • HR Consulting (50%)

    QUALITY REQUIREMENTS: REMUNERATION CONSULTING:

    • Liaise with clients on all aspects of remuneration and reward
    • Present remuneration tools and processes to clients for possible utilisation
    • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate activities relating to benchmarking reports
    • Establish relationship with clients to ensure maximum client satisfaction
    • Market salary surveys to new clients and secure renewals for existing clients
    • Conduct job evaluation
    • Write role profiles
    • Analyse pay structures and make recommendations to attract and retain staff

    QUALITY REQUIREMENTS: HR CONSULTING:

    • Prepare proposals for clients and assist on tender submissions
    • Execute Consulting projects in all aspects of HR as required
    • Conduct training courses in all areas of HR
    • Advise clients on legislative requirements, i.e. reporting on Employment Equity and Skills Development
    • Conduct disciplinary hearings and advise clients on labour relations matters
    • Design HR interventions in all areas of HR

    PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

    • At least 10 years’ experience working in a HR Department as an HR Generalist
    • At least 3 years’ consulting experience
    • Interaction with senior management and executives
    • Job Evaluation
    • Chairing disciplinary enquiries
    • Job profile writing
    • Performance management
    • Training and facilitation skills

    PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP

    • SARA
    • SABPP

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A relevant 3 year degree/ diploma
    • Honours Degree preferable.
