    Marketing Manager

    Job description

    Retail Portfolio requires your Creative spark!

    Our client's Property portfolio has stood the test of the unstable economy and political uncertainty. They are the preferred Landlord and Managing Company as they offer competitive products, services and space. During the last 12 months their focus has been on protecting, expanding and improving their existing retail, commercial and industrial portfolio. Through large scale acquisitions, disposing of under performing assets, as well as developing and managing their current buildings, they have grown their portfolio to now be valued at over R50 Billion across the entire South Africa. To be based in Pretoria, they require a Marketing manager to look after 2 Retail buildings spanning close to 70,000sqm. Between these two high-end life style centres, you will be responsible for all creative and marketing aspects to increase foot count to the centre. One of your main focuses will be to look after your very important tenants and ensuring that they are happy and want to get involved in the marketing campaigns. This will have you visiting tenants on a monthly basis, maintaining an up-to-date database, welcoming all tenants personally, presenting information packs and the distribution of the monthly Tenant newsletter. Once your tenants are happy and welcomed, you will also have to execute and formulate the Centre Marketing strategies, promotional plan and brand strategies. Being a Social Media advocate will help you in maintaining various platforms, responding and managing posts appropriately and managing crisis communication. Your two centres will require you to come up with new and exciting promotions, events and exhibitions. To assist you in these campaigns; you will have to liaise and manage the appointed media and advertising agencies. Obviously customers will also require you to deal with complaints and compliments. Over and above all of this, is the non-exciting part of the role that will have you preparing monthly sales reports, managing and implementing the budget, sourcing quotes, monthly recon and reporting on retail marketing activity. If your passion lies in making your current retail centre the best in the area, and you want to move to one of the listed Property companies in South Africa, this role is for you. To be successful, we will require a list of your events and promotions that you have successfully ran, along with your CV. You must have a reputable Marketing degree or diploma along with at least 6 years marketing experience for a retail centre.
