    Purpose Of Role

    The Talent Acquisition (TA) function at State Street is the HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to and managing the attraction and recruitment of talent across the State Street organization.

    The role of TA Consultant is to manage the local recruitment activity for South Africa. The role requires working flexibility across our business divisions, supporting a variety of levels and roles.A key objective is to partner with the business leaders to identify recruiting requirements and develop a recruitment strategy ensuring appropriate sourcing channels, resource capability and action plan to ensure TA deliver against business resource requirements. The TA Consultant will partner with the regional and Global TA teams, HR Business Partners and GHR CoEs both locally and across the region as required

    This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Regional Manager in London and the HR Country Head in Cape Town

    Major Responsibilities

    • End to End delivery of experienced hire and managerial level vacancies
    • Support the Talent Acquisition workflow between the hiring managers in Cape Town and the entry level recruitment executed remotely from Bangalore
    • Coordination with University Relations and local Universities for Career Fairs
    • Management of external vendor providing Psychometric Assessments
    • Oversight of Pre-Boarding and Criminal Checks e.g. finger printing
    • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, when required
    • Coordination of the Learnership Program and industry specific learning programs
    • Lead TA initiatives to enhance State Street’s network and employer brand across the Cape Town labour market
    • Lead local TA initiatives for sourcing candidates to meet diversity targets, in partnership with the remote team in Bangalore
    • Ad Hoc production of TA Metrics to support recruitment activity, resource planning, diversity and analysis of market trends
    • Ensuring compliance with local legislation and “risk excellence” in all

    Level Of Education / Qualifications

    Under graduate degree preferred

    Skills And Experience

    • Recruitment experience in a multinational organisation as an Internal Recruiter or within a Recruitment agency, financial services sector knowledge preferred
    • Knowledge of the SA employment legislation (EEA, BCEA,LRA,BEEE)
    • Experience in defining an innovative and client focussed Recruitment strategy
    • Knowledge of sourcing channels sites and talent pooling techniques
    • Proven experience of headhunting passive candidates
    • Strong competency based interview skills
    • Attention to detail, organised and ability to manage multiple projects in unison
    • Familiarity with psychometric assessments advantageous
