PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The incumbent is responsible for the following:

• Execute an integrated, multi-disciplinary internal communications plan with strong focus on Nissan’s Manufacturing organisation; and
• Coordinate internal communication projects and events in consulation with cross functional teams and relevant stakeholders.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Execute communications projects and events in line with the internal and plant communications strategy,
• Oversee the management and running of the plant tours.
• Support and protect Nissan Brand Power and Company reputation with employees, including driving employee engagement and pride.
• Manage internal communications channels tensure integrated storytelling at plant and across organisation ie: source content, and manage the internal comms channels including newsletters, electronic media etc
• Support the development of customer and other engagement via new digital and experiential initiatives
• Develop internal communications plan for Manufacturing employees tsupport management communications with employees, including supporting the employee survey drive.
• Create messaging tsupport Manufacturing leadership communication with employees (supervisor messages, green room talks, videos, speeches, etc.)
• Set up feedback loops on communications effectiveness via surveys, focus groups.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field from a recognised tertiaty institution
• 3 years’ experience in internal communications in a large corporate environment
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry would be an advantage
