Key Responsibility Areas: 

• Conceptualise and initiate various projects as per the need of the eThekwini Municipal Area.  
• Establish project goals and objectives in consultation with the Senior Manager Outreach, and stakeholders. 
• Manage, control and review detailed project plans. 
• Monitor, Project plans. 
• Track and adjust project activities. 
• Develop evaluation criteria. 
• Evaluate, document and communicate the effectiveness of project plans, proposals and or project activities upon their completion.
• Analyse the effectiveness of operations within the department. 
• Manage and track expenditure to budget/forecast. 
• Project Procurement Management. 
• Review and revise expense allocations. 
• Manage quality of service. 
• Manage and Monitor subordinates progress. 
• Monitor the progress of geographical separate projects. 
• Monitor customer service indices. 

Essential Requirements:

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Built Environment: Civil Engineering or Construction Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. 
• Registration as a Candidate with the relevant statutory body (ECSA or SACPCMP or SACPLAN). 
• Valid motor vehicle driving license. 
• 4 years relevant experience. 

Preferred Requirements:

• 5 years relevant experience.
