MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the profitable management of the resort while ensuring the highest standards of service and product.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE REQUIRED:

• Preferably on appropriate tertiary education and 5 years of experience as either Deputy General Manger or General Manager.
• Experience should preferably be in 4/5 star hotel/ resort environment.
• Excellent and proven leadership skills.
• Ability to create and mould a cohesive team.
• Ability to envision an exciting and challenging view of the future, and the ability to communicate this enthusiastically to the team.
• Well developed attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly developed Service Ethic and Professional Charm.
• Well developed business acumen.
• Results orientation and business integrity.
• An analytical approach to problem solving and general management.
• Fluency in English and one other official language with a third language being a recommendation.
• Competence on the use of Fidelio, QSA, and MS Office Suite.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Food & Beverage practice.
• Proficiency in the area of Industrial Relations.
• Timeshare management experience is essential.
• Sound knowledge of Food and Beverage Management
• Fly Fishing as an interest will be beneficial
