Responsible for the overall business of Global Enterprise & Public Sector (GEPS).
Managing the sales process from conceptualization, business and sales development, all the way to winning the business be it via direct or indirect GTM approaches.
Develop and maintain strategic view of business to lead the team to success.
Develop and maintain relationship with C-level management of key end customers and partners.
Develop and maintain GEPS country strategy/plan and leverage it to secure support from within the organization to help win business.
Provide guidance and support to team member(s) to ensure a high performance GEPS sales team in South Africa.
Leverage on peers and other support functions within GEPS to help secure business.
Accountable for corporate/sales reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in account management, portfolios, solutions and services sales in the telecommunication industry.
In-depth expertise in selling/marketing and system solutions knowledge
Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets within the assigned territories
Proficiency in CRM tools (CRM / Salesforces.com) for pipeline / funnel management and MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence
Ability to identify and engage with all key stakeholders
Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
