Title: Murex: Risk Technology Consultant (Murex Academy)

Business Unit: Financial Risk Management

Purpose Of The Job

KPMG has launched a “Murex Academy” for the purpose of hiring and developing Risk Technology consultants with targeted skills around the MX3 platform. The main objective is to strengthen our offering and respond to our clients’ needs of consultants with a strong foundation in “Front to Back to Risk” business skills coupled with solid expertise on Murex.The academy is supported by the strong Capital Markets expertise of the Financial Risk Management division of KPMG, as well as the Global Partnership Alliance with Murex.

In that respect, we are looking for candidates with 1 to 4 years’ experience from a Bank, Asset Management and Insurance, Risk/Trading software vendor or Management Consulting firm.

Key Job Duties Or Responsibilities

• Business Requirement and Functional Specifications covering Front Office, Risk, Reporting, Interfaces & Workflows
• Design and Execution of Use/Test cases
• Contributing to internal training and model development, and ensuring the team is kept up to date on modelling practice, regulation, market participants, and market practice in relevant areas
• Working on client projects in both Subject Matter Expert and Engagement Management roles

Critical Technical Skills Or Competencies

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Any IT/development language a plus (C#, VBA, Java, Python)
• Exposure or Experience of trading and risk system (Murex, Calypso, Front Arena, Riskwatch, Adaptiv, Mysis Summit, Quantum,SAS, QRM ...) in a technological role considered a plus
• Candidate must have a good understanding of quantitative methods and their application in the Financial Services industry

Qualifications And Experience
