    Marketing Manager - Campaigns & Strategy

    About The Job

    At Uber we are building an in-house marketing team that can create and execute extraordinary ideas to take the brand into its next chapter of growth across six countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). These countries include: South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and Ghana. We are looking for people with buckets of ambition, bold ideas and plenty of go-getting attitude. You will be working with a team to conceive and execute ideas for Uber for one of the most exciting, challenging and diverse regions.

    What you'll do

    • Own, develop and execute creative and integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish.
    • Work on national ATL advertising campaigns and agile PR and experiential ideas.
    • Be part of a team developing, defining and refining the brand’s positioning and tone in SSA.
    • Analyse market data and research insights to identify growth opportunities for the brand and improve the effectiveness of our communications.
    • Evaluate and analyse the success of campaigns to understand and champion their impact internally.
    • Playbooking. Document everything. The insights from today will pave the way for growth in the region and other markets around the world.

    What you'll need

    • A natural love for brands and great advertising.
    • Creativity - An ability to make work that gets people talking about the brand and using the product.
    • 5 years experience, primarily client side.
    • Example of campaigns you have created or handled, and the results they have driven. Huge plus if you’ve worked on campaigns across more than one country.
    • Hustle - Uber moves fast, and runs lean. It’s a marathon at sprint pace. You're a fun, charismatic, people person who can talk to anyone; flexible and confident, you’re also excited to help build something awesome, share it with the world and work up a sweat doing it.
