As one of the big names in Commercial Real Estate Services and Investment Management, our Gauteng-based client is looking to bulk up their Project management team. Offering their clients a variety of services, with a reputable background spanning more than 2 centuries, this team will be focussed on Commercial New Developments and Commercial fit-out projects. The Johannesburg-office is part of 80 countries worldwide, this covers Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas. As a Professional advisory consultancy, this opportunity will open your opportunities within our country, Africa and Internationally. For our client to maintain status, and develop projects within time, and budget, they require a disciplined Junior Project Manager. You will, firstly, support the Project Management team. This will include planning, coordinating and controlling construction-related activities on projects, or parts of projects. Your Project Managers will rely on you to provide on and off-site service, dealing with the minor administration duties which will allow them to focus on the overall Project Management. Although this might sound restrictive, ideally after proving yourself you will be running your own projects. Managing the Project Administration will include on-site Project management as well, from cost report information, coordinating requirements and delivery, coordinating activities of the professional team, managing the construction procurement and ensuring that the project will be completed within cost, quality and time-constraints. Ideally your previous experience will cover Commercial Fit-out or New Development Projects, but if you have been hands-on for retail projects, that will also work. It's essential that you have a BSc Degree that covers your education and that you have worked on JBCC, FIDIC or PROCSA contracts.
