    Financial/Performance Analyst & Research

    Job description

    Main Purpose

    To contribute to the overall financial success of organization redesign of Shared Services in the delivery of effective, efficient, prompt and professional service to all stakeholders within the timescales and to the quality expected. To be responsible and to provide support and various financial analyses, financial models, cost impact analysis, trends, performance scorecards, cost tracking research but not limited to the examples mentioned. To be responsible for the information gathering related to financial information and non-financial information in support of Shared Services deliverables. To be responsible for the transition support and development of scorecard to track progress and results. To insure that all stakeholders are consulted and engage within the timescales and to the standard expected. To be a Shared Services ambassador in all you do.

    Experience and Requirements

    • 5 Years specific experience in cost analysis, activity costing, and scorecard management will be beneficial.
    • Extensive knowledge in modelling financial and non-financial scenarios.
    • Regular relevant training to keep up to date with changes

    • Willing to work extended working hours

    Key Purpose, Responsibilities & Job Requirements:

    • Support all Shared Services initiatives and accurately track, collate and record information that will inform project and benefits over time.
    • Report on Shared Services functional area cost and total Shared Services cost information as required.
    • Develop required cost estimation models and revaluation models to be factored into business cases/plans, budgets, and other financial planning and tracking mechanisms.
    • Support the various Shared services projects as and when required
    • Track cost benefits as part of transition journey and longer term organisational impact in conjunction with finance team.
    • Provide insight in the cost for each production unit
    • Give management information that will inform strategic and tactical planning to
    • Develop relevant scorecard models to track and report on performance and transition progress.
    • Do cost comparison and activity reporting against industry standards and internal productivity
    • Develop performance scorecards, collate information on agreed intervals and prepare final scorecards for Shared services and the various functional areas
    • Prepare financial, productivity, activity cost, operational cost input in business cases
    • Cost benefit & analysis on change planned and implemented.
    • Cost related to Capex / Opex in support of business cases
    • Process improvement from a cost & efficiency perspective
    • Performance evaluation of projects financially
    • Identify business process improvements (Cost savings or efficiency improvements)
    • Interacting and maintaining good relationships with business stakeholders (business users, change management resources, developers, testing and training teams)
    • Doing predictive analytics in support of optimizing end-to end business processes
    • Perform predictive analytics by extracting information from existing data sets in order to determine patterns and model or map predictions for future outcomes and trends.
    • Coordinate the Financial analysis of the consolidated business and compile a monthly reporting pack with detailed financial analysis.
    • Run management information reports and data extracts to the agreed timetable.
    • Check quality of reports and data extracts produced.
    • Work with systems to create new financial reports.
    • Create efficiency in reporting processes.
    • Drive cost saving initiatives through the operational environment.
    • Prepare a monthly reporting pack.
    • Ad hoc reporting as required
