Management Accountant position in an exciting Manufacturing business. Join a great small team who are ready to welcome you to their organisation.

Based really close to King Shaka airport, you'll have one direct report, to run a well established finance function.

Your key responsibilities:

• Timely reporting of monthly management accounts, analysis and reporting to Group Financial Manager and Managing Director
• Implementation of processes and procedures to facilitate accurate, complete and timely financial information
• Budgeting, forecasting and reporting on Sales, Cost of Sales and Operational expenditure
• Payroll administration
• Administration of statutory filings in a timely, accurate and complete manner (PAYE, VAT, Income Tax etc…)
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Manage the annual audit process in an effective manner
• Manage debtors and revenue collection
• Calculate and record Trade rebates
• Oversight and review of Creditors and reconciliation thereof
• Month balance sheet reconciliation and reporting
• Oversight of stock controls and reporting of financial information pertaining to stock
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Custodian of the financial systems

Our required expertise:

• BComm. Accounting or similar
• 3 - 5 years previous Management Accountant experience
• Fluent in use of Pastel accounting and business intelligence reporting
• Experience with import and export of goods and costing thereof
• Experience within a manufacturing industry advantageous
• Proactive can do attitude
• Professional, committed and organised approach
• Priority focused with good analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable to manage staff and achieve the best from them.
• High level of computer literacy
