PURPOSE / MISSION:
- Contribute towards growing the business and profitability across categories at a regional level by leveraging local and regional consumer & market insights, and by successfully implementing the global and regional strategy within the region
- Bring added value to the business, support global/regional growth strategies and contribute to differentiate Firmenich.
MAIN TASKS:
- Contribute to grow business and profitability across categories in the region
- Implement consumer insights strategies and plan and execute related projects and activities (Quantitative and Qualitative Research).
- Monitor knowledge management of category specifics by ensuring proper usage of standard processes and tools.
- Take leadership and the ownership to implement regional market research work both proactively and client requested
- Develop proactively and reactively new concepts in line with trends and consumer insights as well as with the global strategies, and present these to clients
- Stimulate and nourish creativity and innovation
- Contribute to develop/update the category plan consumer insights.
- Ensure a cost-efficient market research programme.
- Implements regional category plans for their segment strategies;
- Communicates, trains, and promotes internally and externally our existing and new technical expertise and solutions.

FORMATION / EDUCATION LEVEL:
Degree in business/marketing, economics, or mathematics/statistics
PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES:
- 5+ years experience in research industry, preferably within a Global FMCG or having handled FMCG accounts
- Solid experience with presentation, meeting clients, building and sharing learning and insights
- Very proficient in managing, analyzing data, running statistical models, working with databases, paying attention to details
- Experience in both qualitative and quantitative projects
