Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the Asset Information Management Specialist will undertake the following:
- Conduct visual data mapping and analytics for all ACSA’s infrastructure asset base to assist with integrated planning, asset management, content/document and information control, technical drawings and physical asset mapping.
- Manage the Computer Aided Design (CAD)& GIS (Geographic Information System) as well as the information contained therein whilst ensuring critical analysis of systems to align to aviation best practice.
- Co-develop and implement ACSA information requirement policy and ensure project teams and contractors comply.
- Establish contact with various business areas of ACSA to develop and execute information orientation plans
- Prepare draft design drawings in accordance with approved standards, accurately.
- Provide information for decision making in infrastructure planning, execution and management.
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
- Provide infrastructure related management information i.e. spatial plans, schedules etc.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
- Provide relevant reports and advise on non -compliances.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Relevant 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in the Built Environment Design area including CAD.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant work experience within a similar operational environment is essential.
- Computer literacy at an advance level within MS Office, CAD and/or GIS.
- Code 08 Drivers licence
- Candidates will be required to commence processes toward registration toward SACAP/ECSA or the Land Surveyors Institute.

The candidate must be customer focused and can interact with a diverse group of people. In addition, the candidate must be able to work in a team, work individually and work under pressure. The ability to plan work with the aim on achieving all goals as well as detail- orientation are important. The candidate must be able to solve challenging problems by using both intuition and analytical thinking.
