Head: IT Risk & Security at MMI Holdings

Job description

Purpose of position

This person will be ultimately responsible for the IT Risk and Security function at MMI Holdings which includes the planning, design and implementation of preventative security measures, auditing and conducting vulnerability assessments as to ensure that MMI is safeguarded from any possible risks or vulnerabilities in this area.

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree / Diploma
• Minimum of 6 years expert technical security & risk experience is a requirement
• Project management experience will be beneficial
• Knowledge of infrastructure platforms, service management processes
• Experience in budgeting and budgeting control

The Incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Ultimately responsible for the IT security of MMI Holdings
• Developing an MMI IT Security & Risk strategy in line with the latest international trends and requirements
• Functionally to ensure that the IT Risk and Security area enables business to achieve their overall objectives
• Ensure continuous improvement through innovation and improved work efficiencies across the IT Security environment in MMI.
• Monitor, maintain and report on IT Risk, Security & Governance functions in line with legal and financial compliance requirements and good governance
• To implement and maintain strong financial measures within the area
