KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs): 

•  Develop Group Security strategy, charter and policies 
•  Lead and direct the provision of effective Group Security services 
•  Compliance, corporate governance, and risk management  Management of resources 
•  Stakeholder management 
•  Reporting and advisory services.

KNOWLEDGE:

•  Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislation and regulations, including RSR Standards, PSIRA, Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) and Minimum Physical Security Standards (MPSS) 
•  Sound knowledge of the business environment, the relevant role players, and their key responsibilities 
•  Knowledge and understanding of the principles of finance, human resources, supply chain and contract management

EXPERIENCE: 

•  15 years’ security experience of which a minimum of 5 years should be at the senior management level.

•  To direct and provide strategic direction in terms of the provision of a comprehensive legal and compliance support service to businesses (PRASA Corporate, Divisions and Subsidiaries).

•  Oversee the provision of legal and compliance services 
•  Provide expert legal advice 
•  Direct and oversee corporate governance, compliance and risk management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

•  Bachelor’s degree in law (NQF 7) Juris , B Proc, BA (Law) BCom (Law) LLB, /Admitted Attorney

EXPERIENCE: 

•  15 years legal experience of which a minimum of 5 years should be in a corporate/ commercial environment at an executive management level.
