My client, whose head office is based on the city side of Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, invites the right engineers into a young, vibrant and expanding lighting solutions company, where you can pave yourself a great technical and/or sales career path.

In this newly created role under the direction of the Sales Director, you will be assigned to a particular region as the first port of call, where you will be called upon to equip yourself with the product range knowledge to confidently provide advice and/or field technical support queries to the sales team and clients.

As a highly technical enthusiast, enjoy acting as the go-between in facilitating the technical information flow between the technical and sales team, coupled with rendering advice and support for costings and preparation of quotations through our CRM system.

Your Electrical Diploma/Light Current Certification is a given whilst lighting experience and a wireman’s licence would be beneficial. Basic project management skills are necessary and CAD design aptitude would strengthen your application. As a person who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, nothing is too much trouble, as you welcome the opportunity to impart your forever expanding knowledge onto others. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to unpack complexed issues to make them easily understood by sales staff and customers. Exceptionally computer literate on Excel, you can generate complex technical spreadsheets and are adept to translating your knowledge to written explanations.
