    We are currently looking for a Junior Remuneration Specialist to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

    As a Junior Remuneration Specialist at Dimension Data, your key function will be to work closely with the human resources team to provide support on the entire reward and remuneration process. You will operate across multiple countries and regions and assist with the full lifecycle of reward and remuneration to support dynamic business growth.

    What you'll be doing

    • Deploy variable bonus plans
    • Remuneration Practitioners assist with the deployment of variable bonus plans including a timely quarterly claims process in the eVB system. They co-ordinate and send information to the reporting manager to determine the direct reports’ metrics measurement, ensure the plans are created in the system and that ensure the quarterly claims kick-in methodically. These individuals liaise with country Human Resource colleagues in plans deployment matters and provide guidance to facilitate in the plan creation process.
    • Remuneration Practitioners monitor and manage employees that have revision relating to variable bonus changes and ensure a second plan is deployed with the latest information. They liaise with reporting managers and countries’ Human Resource colleagues on the variable bonus metrics that are to be measured and ensure the measurement is within the structure. These individuals create new metrics as requested by the countries and ensure the setup is deployed into the system timely. They ensure plans are deployed within policy and that the duplication of plans to the same employees within the same validity period is avoided. They ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Manage the variable bonus quarterly claims process
    • The Remuneration Practitioner co-ordinates and sends templates to the respective metric owners to populate the metrics values (target/achievement) and ensure the completed templates are return within pre-determined timelines. They upload data into systems and ensure the latest information is captured accurately. These individuals ensure that all claims are eligible for payouts and are within the policy.
    • Support variable bonus queries
    • Remuneration Practitioners support employees and countries with queries related to variable bonuses.

    Behavioural skills

    Remuneration Practitioners have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. They practice two-way communication and listen to and understand others’ points of view. They have good analytical skills and display good business acumen, dealing with a variety of internal teams. As corporate citizens they are good team players and maintain integrity and display good attention to detail. They have a good understanding of the business requirements and use their compensation knowledge to assist with the planning and retention of the right skills.

    What would make you a good fit for this role?

    • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position within a global environment
    • A Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management or Finance
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
    • Organized with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Excellent MS Office skills, notably Excel - Superior analytical skills;
    • Experience with working with finance and accounting; business acumen; good communication skills, verbally and in writing
    • Ability to partner and establish strong cross-functional working relationships with different departments in different regions, cultures and time zones
    • Ability to execute on complex projects
    • Preferably have worked with HR technologies including experience in HRIS and payroll systems
