    Customer Service Champion

    Job description

    • Greets DineIn customers that have already placed orders and are seated and welcomes them to the casa
    • Presents customers with menus for additional orders if requested and advises on additional items and promotions
    • Takes and processes additional orders for food and beverages according to Nando’s operational standards
    • Collaborates with the waitron to deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely and courteous manner
    • Monitors the wait times for DineIn customers, ensuring that their needs are met during this period
    • Monitors all orders to ensure the correct meals are received by customers
    • Ensures customers receive dine in kits near the end of their meal
    • Manages payment transactions for any additional orders for customers, ensuring accurate cash, credit card or voucher payments are managed in accordance with policies and procedures
    • Oversees the set up and maintenance of all casa service areas and ensures the cleanliness and organisation of these and other public areas at all times
    • Receives and responds to customer enquiries, comments and complaints and escalates to the manager on duty when necessary
    • Proactively engages and establishes relationships with customers in the hope of securing return visits to the store
    • Thanks customers upon departure
    • Supports colleagues at peak times and undertakes any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met
    • Observes and evaluates Front of House work areas and procedures to ensure quality standards and service are met
    • Understands and ensures the execution of Standard Operating Procedures
    •  Recommends measures for improving procedures and performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety
    • Stays current on menu items, product changes, company procedures and campaigns
    • Continuously promotes the Nando’s brand

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent
         
    • 1-2 Years relevant Front of House experience in food services/hospitality industry
