    Human Resources Administrator

    Job description

    We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our team in Somerset West, Cape Town. Earning a monthly salary of R9 000 to R14 000, you would be focussed on recruitment, handling all HR-related queries, contributing towards our culture blog and helping with general office management.

    Your primary administrative duties would include recruitment, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, updating internal databases and office administration.

    Our ideal candidate has an HR related degree or diploma and can juggle various administrative tasks promptly. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that we maintain a steady talent pipeline and that the HR department supports our employees.

    HR Administrator Responsibilities Include:

    • Recruitment and talent pipeline management (headhunting, screening CV’s, conducting initial interviews and scheduling interviews).
    • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
    • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
    • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date and accurate
    • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
    • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
    • Revise HR related company policies
    • Contribute to our Culture blog
    • Office management (Answering the company landline and ordering office groceries).

    Requirements

    • HR related degree or diploma
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Computer literacy
    • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
    • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
