Key Result Area

• Responsible for driving the Implementation Project from beginning to end and working with various Business divisions and clients to ensure a successful implementation.
• Setup and co-ordinate meetings between Client, Business and Middleware.
• Create an effective Implementation Project Plan and Participates in the project delivery lifecycle - taking approved designs through to go-live.
• Collect, review, analyze, evaluate, and document business and system requirements
• Helps gather requirements scope & disposition through process compliance and gap analysis
• Create a ‘sequence diagram’ to describe the flow of data between each step of the processes in order to determine which processes are impacted, and where the data will be going.
• Drive and manage the necessary infrastructure and communication setup between the client and the business.
• Work with technical leads, programmers and developers to translate requirements into system designs
• Ensure the specified technical interfaces are supplied or adapted.
• Prepare mapping requirements
• Deliver functional specifications & configuration in line with the agreed and approved design and Develop and/or assist in the configuration of the workflows.
• Create test plans, test cases and do functional testing
• Coordinate the user acceptance testing, defect and issue tracking processes related to integration on validation of data and functionality of applications
• Address issues and mitigate risks, communicate status to business, IT Management and other IT teams that are impacted by the project
• Create the specified UAT sign off documentations.
• Create Process documents.
• Deployment of workflows to the Production environment.
• Adhere to the corporate security policies
• Maintain and Support Existing Edi’s:
• Provide application support in resolving and troubleshooting problems internally and externally.
• Work with internal and external customers to understand and interpret needs, develop potential solutions, and implement the optimal solution to meet their needs.
• Be knowledgeable of internal and external customers' systems and work processes to better understand their needs and provide cursory analysis to identify and analyze issues.
• Identify all possible service disruptions and or abnormalities within the integration value chains
• Monitoring and Proactively Problem-Solving. Reacting to customer-reported issues and ensuring consistent day-to-day maintenance.
• Regularly evaluating the current state of the application, identifying aspects which could be improved and recommend changes in order to facilitate those improvements.
• Address any incoming EDI issues, including rejected transactions
• Address any outgoing EDI issues, which may include modifying and/or re-sending EDI transmissions to Clients
• Establish elements and environments effected by disruption
• Establish root cause of the disruptions
• Serve as the primary technical (EDI) contact for the Company, including facilitating all necessary communications internally and with our customers.
• Establish resolution path to be taken:
• Data value change
• Process change
• Application / script change
• Infrastructure disruption
• Drive resolution process to completion
• Ensure that where possible monitoring and alerts are configured to warn of future like disruptions
• Establish and implement monitoring protocols
• Provide adequate reports and sync findings based on business importance and urgency
• Perform EDI Mappings
• Analyse changes, enhancements, new Client requirements in EDI and determine the impact on existing production systems, system design, programming standards and operating procedures
• Complete change control documents and follow change control procedures for all new requirements/enhancements
• Ensure that release and implementation is agreed and communicated to all stakeholders prior to release date
• Testing & Deploying - Create test plans, test cases and do functional testing
• Responsible for managing environments used for storing and accessing data, for designing, implementing and testing new SQL and software programs, and also for scheduling and performing tests to measure and improve the quality of various IT solutions, and to make sure that they perform as specified.
• Provide support to business users and investigate data discrepancies and application errors, and propose modifications and enhancements to existing applications to improve their functionality or address any issues that arise.
• ADHOC & PROJECTS:
• Responsible for Adhoc & EDI Projects such as:
• Migration of existing EDI’s/ architecture,
• Astea Build Application Testing - UAT, parallel testing, and regression testing
• Development Testing
• Ensure that EDI is well integrated into the company's Disaster Recovery Protocol, to ensure uninterrupted communications even in case of disaster
• Planning application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration to new system

Qualifications

• BCS Computer science or National diploma

Experience
