You will be responsible for writing well-developed, on-brand copy to help market the company’s products and services.

We are searching for a talented junior copywriter to join our team. The position will require you to write all copy for Web Africa Website Design Customers. This includes things such as blog posts, website content and website articles.

The successful applicant would be required to compile creative copy from a brief, add copy to customer’s websites on a monthly basis, write relevant articles based on the customers line of business/product line and to actively research relevant topics and facts that can be used when compiling copy for customers. The candidate must have excellent time management skills and be able to work proactively within a team environment.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ Years of online copywriting experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpretation skills
• Ability to research and write on various topics
• Multi-tasking skills necessary for working on concurrent projects

Ideal Requirements

• Creative-writing experience
• Email copywriting experience
• Blog writing experience
• Article writing experience
• SEO Copywriting skills
• Tertiary diploma or degree in copy writing

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) & Responsibilities

• To write quality copy for customer’s websites
• To write quality website articles
• Interpretation of brief sets and customers objectives
• Understand brand identity, capture and cultivate a brand voice, and adhere to branding guidelines.
• Translate high-level concepts and briefs into finished copy.
• Provide updates on ongoing project updates to coordinate with team members.
• Working closely with the wider creative team to ensure top-quality deliverables
• Turn-around-time: ability to deliver the agreed amount of work within the agreed time line at the required standard.
