    Sourcing Specialist

    Job description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    Run sourcing projects and source new suppliers for the Pep consumer market. This must contribute to the profit margin and price points of Pep and ensure a competitive advantage while in accordance to the sourcing directive.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Run Sourcing Projects
    • Product Sourcing
    • New Supplier development
    • System adherence / Administration
    • Market Research and competition analysis

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant Degree (e.g. Consumer Science) or Diploma (e.g. Clothing / Purchasing Management)
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office)
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in buying / sourcing preferably in different departments
    • Administrative skills and adherence to deadlines

    Competencies required:

    • Good communicator;
    • Confident; Business Acumen;
    • Negotiation and influencing;
    • Planning, organizing and control;
    • Stress Tolerance;
    • Resourcefulness,
    • Eye for detail;
    • Analytical;
    • Building and maintaining relationships and able to function independently
