Job description

Purpose:

To analyse and define requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business that enable effective delivery of required solutions while ensuring a client centric orientation.

Qualifications and minimum requirements:

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2+ years of technology-related work experience, PMP preferred.
• Previous experience with Murex and Funding Methodologies is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to interface with a variety of technical and business personnel with courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to direct, organize and communicate with others.
• Knowledge of Project Management and Agile methodologies, Best Practices, and associated tools to appropriately manage projects and the project portfolio.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• The ability to unpack fairly complex financial/mathematical systems.
• The ability to design and implement a new model for funding.
• Strong financial / mathematical background.
• Manage the implementation of technology projects, be it enhancements, fixes or new projects.
• Excellent scheduling capabilities utilizing Microsoft Project.
• Excellent work breakdown structure (WBS) skills to further define and manage project tasks across several teams.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to run effective Steering Committees and Project Control Group meetings with IT executives and team leads.
