The Role:

As a Manual Test Analyst you will undertake all business support needs for the delivery of software testing services and QA onboarding. Being passionate about delivering high value impact solutions to popular brands is what we’re looking for!

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake all software test related activities in support of the business requirements for the provision of new and updated systems to ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Execute Quality Assurance checks during third-party supplier and internal developments to ensure delivery of ‘fit-for-purpose’ code in test environments owned by the QA team.
• Attend workshops comprising of business and/or technical representatives to cover test-dependent activities such as requirement verification and prioritization, test scenario identification as well as general matters.
• Ensure that test scenarios are prepared in a structured way, prioritized to reflect business or technical priorities, and are approved by appropriate partners. Scope is to cover test cycle contents and regression packs.
• Build allocated test cases, monitor test execution and ensure that results are recorded.
• Re - test defects/issues either through ‘at desk’ re-tests by business test representatives, or via walk - through's with third-party providers.
• Prepare and maintain relevant test & training documentation, including test cases, activity schedules, narrative and written reports, and visual progress charts.
• Liaise with and assist each line of business regarding the test planning, testing activity, and test results analysis.
• Deliver the testing services to the business and ensure the release of systems without significant error.
• Ensure that the necessary support and advice is provided in an effective manner which demonstrates a deep understanding of the benefits of a structured approach to testing.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems.
• ISTQB Certifications (Advantageous).
• 3-5 years' SDLC experience.
• 3-5 years' functional, load, negative, system, performance, exploratory, regression, API and integration testing experience.
• 3-5 years' Isolation/Conjunction interfacing applications testing experience.
• 3+ years' n-Tier, client server and database environment experience.
• 3+ years' TestRail/Jira/Rest Assured/JMeter testing tools experience.
• 3-5 years' agile methodology experience.
