    Business Analyst

    Job description

    Under the direction of the CTO, the Business Analyst is responsible for leading the development of advanced software projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates their passion for product development by coupling of excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to quickly identify the best development path, and communicate to development teams the details required to create exceptional products.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Works with business partner to elicit granular-level requirements and capture business needs
    • Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
    • Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands
    • Manages ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT
    • Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
    • Engages with development team to incorporate usability and user interface design
    • Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues
    • Negotiates contracts, manages relationships, and monitors development team output

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Broad IT domain experience in the following areas: Project Management, Software Development, SCRUM, Quality Assurance
    • University degree in non-specific fields
    • Advanced degrees are preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and thinking
    • Basic understanding of software and business concepts
    • Familiarity with general business functions
    • Problem solving and strong communication skills
