Job Description

The primary purpose of the Software Developer role is to create and build maintainable, reliable software that adheres to client and design specifications, in accordance with the project plan, and meets performance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Key accountabilities and decision ownership: (8 or 10 max):

• Performs maintenance, support & enhancements of existing systems.
• Adheres to development processes.
• Adheres to SCRUM processes.
• Develops new products/features.
• Conducts systems and unit testing.
• Maintains technical documentation.
• Coaches junior developers.
• Communicates effectively and escalates issues timeously.

Skills, Know-how And Experience

Must have: (5 or 6 Max)

• 2 – 5 years’ software development experience.
• Experience in designing and architecting sub-components of a system.
• Experience in leading intermediate/junior developers in development of a product feature.
• Intermediate programming skills: C#.Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VB6.
• Ability to compile technical documentation for review by senior developers.

Preferred: (2 or 3 Max)

• Programming skills in Angular.js, jQuery
• Technical / Professional Qualifications

Degree: BSc Comp Sci/Eng or equivalent
