    Strategic Marketing Manager

    Job description

    Main Purpose:

    To lead the strategic marketing strategies and activities of Hilti in line with the overall business targets and objectives

    Reports to: Marketing Director

    Reporters: 4- 5 employees

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leads the leadership and development of the team-members and team-leaders within Strategic marketing team
    • Leads the development and implementation of company strategy into actions distributed to the respective functions in the strategic marketing team and applied for the countries in the region
    • Secures the marketing management process from a strategic marketing perspective (analysis, planning, implementation and control) for the respective functions in the team
    • Identifies the most attractive potential in the markets and helps steering the MCS in the right direction
    • Implements the global market reach processes and drives improvement process on the local level and level
    • Implements global market sensing standards and develops/executes specific sensing initiatives on the local level and level
    • Implements global guidelines on structured pricing and fleet management
    • Provides transparency on the level for the business results achievement and its individual facets
    • Provides ad-hoc analysis and derive recommendations on strategic marketing topics
    • Secures productive contacts and communication between the team, other departments, across the region as well as with relevant functions in headquarters

    Education:

    • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Social Sciences.
    • MBA degree is an asset.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum 7 - 8 years of professional experience. 5+ years management consultancy company experience is a must. (Experience in serving to Direct Selling / a similar operational model client is preferred). 2 – 3 years of line management experience is an asset but not a must.
    • Solid understanding of the marketing management process and the marketing mix
    • Customer oriented with a passion for developing and improving marketing processes, market sensing/research and market communication
    • International work experience within marketing/market reach is an asset.
    • Ability to work closely with all functions and key business stakeholders across the organization.
    • Successful experiences from working with large sales forces and a multi channel approach
    • Earlier experiences from one or more of: Fact base/customer data, Pricing, Channel Management
    • Highly numerate, able to interpret external/ internal data and able to go beyond the key findings of the analysis and recommend strategic solutions/develop business case for decision making.
    • People management experience is expected

    • Ability to integrate and direct the activities of people from different units to achieve complex interrelated goals. (Project Cooperation)
    • Ability to act to promote a friendly climate, good morale and cooperation. Protect and promote group reputation with others. Operates and works well with others in the pursuit of team goals, shares information, supports others, fits in the team. (Teamwork)
    • Ability to establish appropriate courses of action for self and/or others to accomplish a goal. Implementation of plans. Actions taken to ensure this. (Planning and Organization)
    • Excellent written and spoken English

    • Basic plus benefits structure
