Job Description

• Account Director — Retail (Integrated, Above-the-Line & Digital)
• The Account Director plays a key role in driving the efficient and profitable running of the account, with a strong focus on delivering innovative, retail-centric campaigns across above-the-line, digital, and integrated media.
• While fully engaged in day-to-day delivery, you’re also thinking ahead — identifying opportunities for account growth, mentoring and motivating your team, and demonstrating a deep understanding of your clients’ business goals, their shoppers, and their path to conversion.
• This role is accountable for the successful development and implementation of account strategies and campaigns that connect with retail consumers and drive measurable results for both clients and their brands.

Experience:

• 5+ years’ client service experience within an integrated or creative advertising agency (preferably a well-established retail-focused agency)
• 3+ years’ people management experience, mentoring account team members and delivering campaigns that make a measurable commercial impact

Qualification

• Matric essential
• Relevant tertiary qualification (marketing and communications) essential
