Accountant at Flash Group

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers and customers to receive, reconcile, and capture invoices.
• Set up remittances for paying creditors.
• Manage day-to-day queries from customers and suppliers.
• Communicate with customers to send invoices and statements and follow up on payments.
• Manage multiple creditor and debtor accounts to ensure they are up to date.
• Work with large volumes of data in Excel for reconciliations and processing.
• Process month-end virtual stock revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
• Perform commission calculations for month-end processing.
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate presentation of virtual stock products in the management accounts.
• Liaise with the Tech and Product departments to troubleshoot problems and streamline processes.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and investigations as requested by the manager.
• Support basic financial reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to cash flows, forecasts, and budgeting processes.
• Report financial insights to departmental leadership.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Formal training in accounting.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in debtors, creditors, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Exposure to financial reporting and analysis.
