    Accountant Supply Chain Management

    • Salary Scale: R489 747.00 - R541 176.00 per annum

    Requirements of the Position:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Supply chain management or NQF Level 7 equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in Municipal Finance Management.
    • Valid Code EB driving license.
    • 4 Years relevant experience in Local Government.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Monitoring personnel and services to ensure that acceptable levels of quality and performance are maintained.
    • Rendering acquisition services and perform demand procedures with regard to formal written quotation procedures.
    • Executing prescribed procurement practices, confirm specifications and terms of reference, advertisement, evaluation process, contract initiation and conclusion.
    • Ensuring that requirements are procured according to relevant prescripts.
    • Receiving requests for formal written quotations and verify specification content for completeness.
    • Assisting users with regards to processes/procurement plan submission and information.
    • Attending specific administrative recording and reporting requirements
    • Consulting with or answer queries by addressing the public or internal customers in person, by phone or in writing
    • Performing any other duties reasonably assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of the position.
