    Acquisition Specialist - National Office

    Purpose

    • To administer the bid process and source goods and services for the CCMA in compliance with Supply Chain Management Policies and Procedures.

    Key Performance Areas :-

    • Bid Process Administration; Efficiently coordinate and administer all aspects of the bid process, from initiation to award. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
    • Sourcing of Quotes; Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential suppliers. Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favourable terms.
    • Placing Orders; Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential suppliers. Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favourable terms.
    • Supplier Performance Evaluation; Establish and maintain a robust system for evaluating supplier performance. Provide feedback to suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Supply Chain Management Compliance; Stay updated on SCM policies, regulations, and industry best practices. Guarantee adherence to compliance standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
    • Provision of Demand Management; Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and forecast demand. Develop strategies for efficient demand planning and procurement plan management.
    • Provision of Contract Management; Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring terms are met and risks are mitigated. Collaborate with legal and finance teams for contract reviews and approvals.
    • Reporting; Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities. Provide regular updates to management on procurement status and potential areas for improvement.

    Key Requirements:

    • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or other relevant qualifications.
    • 2 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields of which
    • 1 year is in the public sector.
