Supreme processing has an opportunity available for an Admin Clerk in the Stores department. The purpose of the position is to efficiently run the administration and coordination of our dry ingredient stores and ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining proper records, and supporting the smooth flow of operations in our production processes.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate/ certificate in Office administration
Proven experience as a stores clerk, stock controller, or similar role in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Strong Customer service skills
Computer literate (MS Microsoft word, excel, outlook
Self -motivated and ability to work independently.
Competent on job specific in-house job skills.
Detail and accuracy orientated.
Willing to work overtime
Strong data capturing skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately receive and record dry ingredient deliveries, ensuring the quality and quantity meet our standards.
Organize and maintain the dry ingredient stores, adhering to proper storage and FIFO (first-in-first-out) principles to prevent spoilage or wastage.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to monitor and reorder dry ingredients when stock levels are low.
Prepare and process necessary documentation related to the dry ingredient stores, including delivery notes, stock records, and reports.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely issuance of dry ingredients for production, following the production schedule.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to maintain accurate stock levels.
Assist in maintaining food safety standards and compliance in the dry ingredient stores area.
Respond to queries and provide support to the production and quality control teams as needed.
Assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives to optimize dry ingredient stores' efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure housekeeping is always adhered to in the stores.
