Grade 12 certificate, a recognized 3-year Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Accounting/ Auditing/ Internal Audit, coupled with a minimum of two (2) years proven experience in an Internal Control and Internal Auditing environment. A valid driver’s license.
Duties :
Monitor the implementation of the risk action plan progress. Identify and assess risks in the entity. Assist in providing recommendations for the risk management action plan. Assist in reviewing risk strategies to be in line with the entity's objectives. Maintain and compile risk registers.
Conduct risk awareness campaigns. Verify management action plans and make follow-ups on the outstanding management action plans. Update risk registers and submit monthly and quarterly reports to the Assistant Director. Implementation of risk compliance.
Update the operational risk control matrix on a quarterly basis. Compile risk compliance reports on a quarterly basis. Educate and train risk champions/coordinators and units on risk management principles and processes. Provide administrative support to the Strategic and Operational Risk Management Committee.
