Administrative Assistant (JG10) at Santam Insurance

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

The candidate will be expected to perform (but not limited to) the following administrative duties:

• General administration
• Evaluating the merits of a claim in order to establish if a claim is correctly registered
• Obtaining of outstanding information/documentation on new claims
• Liaising with external resources – brokers/clients/third parties, etc.
• Preparation of a claim for assignment to the technical team
• Payments on claims

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 certificate
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Prior experience in an administrative assistant role
• Experience in working with highly confidential information

• Fluent in English and a basic understanding of Afrikaans
