Administrative Assistant at U.S. Embassy South Africa

Duties

• This position serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Engineering Services Center (ESC), a field operation of the Office of Security Technology, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The incumbent provides administrative and logistical support to one Officer-in-Charge (OIC), one Regional Director of Security Engineering (RDSE), two Security Engineering Officers (SEO), two Regional Computer Security Officers (RCSO), two Security Technicians (STS), three Navy Seabees, one Logistician, and four Regional Security Technicians (RST). The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Officer-in-Charge ESC Pretoria.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:

• EXPERIENCE:  At least 4 years of secretarial/administrative work experience is required.  Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) required.

Education Requirements:

• Mandatory: Completion of Secondary School is required

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing) is required.  (This may be tested)
