Administrative Officer: NaTIS Training, Ref No. WCMD 26/2024 R2 at Western Cape Mobility Department

Job Purpose    

• The Mobility Department, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide training to all provincial users of the National Traffic Information System (NaTIS), as well as to supervise and coordinate the activities of the division responsible for the auditing of transactions performed by internal NaTIS users and to perform duties of user acceptance testing.
• This individual must have the ability to work under pressure, willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines and willingness to regularly travel away from the office.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
• A minimum of 3 years relevant administrative and training/teaching or relevant experience
• A valid code B or higher driving license, or alternative mode of transport for people with disabilities.

Key Performance Areas    

• Supervise and coordinate the activities relating to NaTIS training; Facilitate training for NaTIS users in the Western Cape; Supervise all the activities relating to the auditing of NaTIS transactions and other key tasks performed by internal NaTIS users
• Supervisory functions; It will be advantageous to have a Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETD) or Education and Training.
