Administrator (Fleet) - Durban at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose    
To control technical operations of the vehicles and plant to meet set objectives.

Key Responsibility Areas    

•  Responsible for capturing data to maintain good records.
•  Control and allocate plant and transport to drivers and Refuse Removal Controllers.
•  Monitor the utilisation of allocated plant and inspect vehicles after every use.
•  Place orders for protective clothing for staff.
•  Maintain the vehicle monitoring system such as C-Track and related documentation.
•  Maintain accident records and file all correspondence with insurance companies.
•  Undertake related assignments.

Essential Requirements    

•  Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and a certificate in Transport Management or Logistics Management or Fleet Management.
•  Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•  3 Years relevant experience.
•  Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements    

•  Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Transport Management, Logistics Management or Fleet Management.
•  4 Years relevant experience.
