    Aftersales Manager

    Job Description

    • Isuzu Standerton, has the following vacancy available: Aftersales Manager at Isuzu Standerton, Mpumalanga.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Overall responsibility of the workshop
    • Control service delivery
    • Job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations
    • Assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks
    • Ensure correct job number are used that the time records are correct
    • Regularly report progress on each job and communicate delays or concerns
    • Identify client's needs and explain/demonstrate services to them
    • Ensure workshop staff understand job specifications and timeframes for job
    • Sign off job cards as completed and completing initial quality check on work prior to work being released to customer
    • Report any malfunctions of machines
    • Manage all the activities and services of the parts department
    • Control receiving and check out of stock; monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence; check inventory counts; order and allocate inventory; check deviations on inventory counts  
    • Check, control and manage received notes; control credit notes which must be processed
    • Managing profit margins on parts
    • Reaching set budget goals and targets 
    • General neatness of department and the parts store
    • Maintain accurate pricing for all new / used parts
    • Control expenses including courier costs              
    • Oversee all orders made from parts suppliers
    • Manage worksheets between parts and workshop; ensure that hours booked on worksheets are correct         
    • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
    • Any other duties as assigned by Management

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Computer literate
    • Valid driver's license
    • At least 5 years' experience in a parts and workshop position
    • Be professional
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must be a dynamic and self-motivated individual
    • Have customer service expertise
