Are you a seasoned Agile Coach with a passion for driving Agile transformation in large-scale IT business solutions? Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Coach to lead and mentor project teams in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies, specifically in a SAFe Agile environment. This is a 3 year fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an Agile transition plan, ensuring successful adoption across project teams.
Facilitate the creation and improvement of Agile processes, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Lead Agile transformation initiatives, instilling Agile values, methods, and principles across teams and leadership.
Establish and develop the organization's Agile delivery team to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
Coach and mentor leadership and teams on SAFe Agile methodologies, ensuring seamless integration within the business.
Represent team interests, resolving challenges within the Agile transformation process.
Configure and maintain Agile project management tools to streamline workflows.
Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine product backlogs.
Create a culture of trust and safety, fostering an environment where teams can raise concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Identify and address root causes of challenges, supporting teams in problem resolution and process enhancement.
Ensure Agile practices are embedded consistently across the organization's delivery value chain.
Support business stakeholders in successfully leading Agile transformation efforts.
Liaise with the Strategy Management Office and IQ Business on Agile roadmap alignment.
Key Requirements:
Relevant Degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Business, or related field.
Certified Scrum Master (PSM or CSM) certification is essential.
Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC) certification is highly desirable.
8+ years of experience in IT and the financial industry.
4-5 years’ experience as an Agile Coach in a similar environment.
Proven expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies.
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile frameworks.
Extensive knowledge of software development project management.
Hands-on experience with project management tools and DevSecOps technologies.
Strong ability to lead, coach, and mentor diverse teams.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
