• Providing higher-level technical and programming support;
• Ensuring technical integrity of the solution;
• Ensuring that all system changes align with coding standards and principles;
• Assisting the BA and Architect to translate strategic decisions into business solutions;
• Assisting with the analysis and design of new systems and databases;
• Advising management on effective applications, covering areas such as maintenance, support, man-machine interface and data management requirements;
• Designing and documenting technical specifications/program specifications;
• Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of
• the solution;
• Developing, testing and implementing new systems and system changes in accordance with agreed coding standards and principles;
• Documenting system features and functionality;
• Performing data conversion; and,
• Providing development solutions, which maintain the technical integrity of the solution.

To apply, you need to have Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification coupled with at least 5 years' experience in web application development using the ASP.NET.

You need to come from a strong technical background with an understanding of best practices for building web and database applications and knowledge of database design, systems analysis, and you need to have technical documenting skills.
