    Analyst, Segment

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The International Diaspora Clients team is responsible for individuals who are citizens of countries and live in South Africa, whether for work, studying, business or any other reasons. The portfolio also includes South African citizens who live outside the borders of South Africa. Also part of this portfolio is individuals who live in South Africa, and have a connection to South Africa. Our mission is to help our clients maintain their connection to home, wherever that may be. We work very closely with Stanbic countries to ensure that regardless of where our clients bank, they experience the Standard Bank Group in the same manner, even across borders. We also work across all client sub-segments in Consumer (main market, affluent, high net worth and youth), and collaborate with Business and Commercial Clients and Corporate and Investment Banking. This person will be responsible for providing appropriate analyses, insights and recommendations into the development and customisation of customer value propositions for individuals who are in the diaspora (outside SA). This includes South Africans who have emigrated, South Africans who are temporarily abroad and any individuals who are citizens of other countries and would want a banking relationship in South Africa including those who bank with Standard Bank in Africa Regions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Business Commerce Degree

    Experience Required: 3-4 years

    • Experience in sourcing and providing relevant data analyses, strategic insights and recommendations for the development of customer value propositions. Knowledge of the bank's products, systems and processes. Knowledge of the digital environment and how it relates to the banking industry. Good understanding of behavioural economics and its practical application. Experience in reporting, e.g. the ability to build a PowerBI report and other reporting data for day-to-day reporting for the segment.
