    Analytics Analyst

    Job Description

Our Analytics team come from diverse disciplines such as statistics, research methodology, mathematics, psychology, business, engineering, physics, supply chain, merchandising and economics. These professionals drive innovation, new product ideation, develops complex analysis and delivery of data insights to help clients in the CPG industry run their businesses with increased efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    •    Work collaboratively between our clients, the Operations team and the Commercial team to define the client business questions & identify the appropriate solution.

    •   Be in continual contact with key client stakeholders, to strengthen partnerships and ensure project is running as per defined scope.

    •   Design and deliver precise, accurate, timeous and actionable proposals & insights deliveries that will answer the business questions of clients

    •   Be able to engage at a senior level with clients, in a professional and value adding manner to ensure we are always assisting them and adding value to their business.

    •  Be strong in your admin, detail oriented, and precise as your input will have a direct impact on the client and NielsenIQ performance.

    •  Be able to work across NielsenIQ functions, understanding the strengths & weaknesses of each division and how each helps our clients so that you can speak to clients in a holistic way.

    •  Grow the penetration and frequency of the NielsenIQ Analytics and Instore services with clients.

    • Through excellence in project and insights delivery, help to grow existing accounts.

    • Help to find white space opportunities through thought leadership insights & presentations.

    2.Analytical and Technical skills:

    •  Ability to distil technical data analytics in a simple, client friendly manner

    •  Strong aptitude for data analysis.

    •  Solid critical/ logic thinking.

    •  Business acumen, finance and budgeting knowledge

    •  Strong excel skills important

    •   Experienced in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and mapping tools.

    Qualifications

    •  Professionals with degrees in Economics, Marketing, Sales, Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets

    •  Previous experience in CPG / FMCG industries highly advantageous

    •  2+ years of experience in market research or relevant field

    •  Solid understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s business within the market.
